Meet Our Certified Nurse Midwife
Philosophy
As a certified nurse midwife, I believe that the strength, knowledge, and inner wisdom of women is vital for a healthy and holistic delivery. I currently am not participating in deliveries. During the journey of pregnancy however, I seek to aid women and their families in developing and implementing their labor and delivery goals that are important to them and reflect their cultural, social, and spiritual backgrounds and beliefs. My primary concern is for the safety of each mother and child as well as a respect for human dignity and cultural diversity. It is my privilege to participate with families in the office setting functioning as an office provider.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working in women’s healthcare for the past 8 years. Prior to becoming a midwife, I worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over five years. I am currently working in the office providing prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care to women ranging from adolescence to menopause. I am excited to provide all patients with holistic health care and educate them appropriately in making health care decisions. I am privileged to be working alongside such an amazing group of physicians and staff.
I am currently living in Colorado Springs with my husband, and we are hoping to expand our family soon. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
